If your thinking about booking a lesson we feel It's never too early to start working towards passing your test as we think you'll agree there is much more to learn when driving than the practical details. To pass the theory test you will need to answer 43/45 questions correctly. The test isn't easy by any means and has been developed over the years to ensure drivers basis in knowledge is sufficient. The test is of course based on the Highway Code and includes a case study, which is a 'real life' scene that could potentially happen while you are behind the wheel. There are five questions based on this, which aim to assess the learners understanding of important road safety matters. As the first stage of being able to drive is doing the theory test we advise that you start studying asap. We can recommend good resources – but one of the best is the Highway code so you can learn the rules of the road.
